review 1: This was a lot of fun and had some touching moments. The setup was a fairly standard cliche, but I thought it was done really well, and she couldn't have picked better characters to put in this situation. Their interaction was hilarious and hot at the same time; with bonus points for safe sex and the man checking in that she was okay. Will read more of this author! I got this as a free ebook on Smashwords.
review 2: I purchased this book some time ago and really enjoyed it. I just read it again and it is just as good the second time around.It is short which I like because I get sucked in, so sometimes I need something that won't take long. However, just because it is short does not mean it's not well developed. I really felt like I knew the characters and w... moreas invested in them.This is a good lead in to the Serve and Protect series. After reading this the first time I purchased the rest of the books in the series and throughly enjoyed them as well. They are full length so this book is a good intro to guage whether you will enjoy those. less
