review 1: I saw this book on mod cloth and instantly thought, "pretty cover". I was into Audrey Hepburn movies at the time, so I had to get this book from my library. But Im so disappointed, I just got it today and I was only 20 pages in! I skipped around a bit, but really, I couldn't get through with it, let alone finish it. The introduction itself sounded so pretentious, and more the author wrote it using that kind of "we", uggh. So annoying. We? No, definitely not me. Some of the things said just in the introduction sounded so rude and pretentious to me, I just couldn't go on with it. Let me just let you guys know, don't let the pretty cover with Audrey fool you, it is really not worth reading, and Im ashamed that it was written around her at that.
review 2: What woul
... mored Audrey do? Always a good question to ask oneself when faced with difficult choices, especially when faced with the choice of what you should wear. (I know the fad was WWJD for a long while but WWAD makes it a bit more chic) That being said, we cannot always do what Audrey would do. First off, there is no humanly way possible for my waist to be 20 inches. I tried for two days and couldn't do it. I did figure out that when I am plagued with hunger I resemble a disney villain which is about as opposite from Audrey as one can be. Also when the choices are fresh fruit or toaster strudel I will always choose the toaster strudel. (does an apple toaster strudel count as a serving of fruit? Hmm) Audrey would have, of course, chosen the fruit. And it would probably have been picked from her own garden. Though most of us will never have Audrey's figure (or have the chance to kiss Humphrey Bogart on screen. Swoon), there are many lessons to be learned from her life. She succeeded and excelled despite her hardships early in life, she took roles that were risky, and she looked great doing it. Audrey is a fashion icon to this day and inspires many designers visions, but once reading about her life she will become an idol worth looking up to. There is only one Audrey Hepburn. The Snooki's, and Paris's will fade away but Audrey will live on in the minds, hearts, and clothes of future generations. less

Good and easy read. Summarizes "How to be more like Audrey" at the end of each chapter.

A lighthearted fun read with informative bits about Audrey's rather sad start in life.

I would rather have a book just about her and not a fake advice book.

I didn't actually finish this book, because I don't like it.

A light-hearted look at Audrey Hepburn.
