review 1: Just say NO!! Is this supposed to be a Children's book because IT IS NOT!! It is rife with name calling and bullying, even by the MC!! Ugh. At first I was thinking it would be a good painless quick read for reluctant MG readers, but the content isn't even suitable for that classification. At about the 40% mark it becomes really contrived and rambling like a grandfather making up a story for the kids that ends up not being appropriate. I say it is not enjoyable by any age group. This was a DNF. Thank goodness it was a free Amazon ebook.
