review 1: Vampire Bikers...I can't say that Bikers are my idea of a great read. I don't mind violence in books but I don't like real criminals and most of the MC that I've read are criminals. I was told by all my friends in June that I've got to read this series that it is fabulous and I'll fall hard for Viper and Hawk Tepes. Well I'm pleased to say that they were not wrong. I truly enjoyed this book and I can't wait to read the next one. "Viper" is a good start to the series it had good world building and character development. The story is exciting and at times had me on the edge of my seat. It was a tad slow in places but it kept me intrigued. The Sons of Sangue are some very hot Vampires and Viper (Kane) is one sexy alpha male. I thought Cara Brahnam's character started out a li... morettle weak but then she came into her own and ended up being perfect for Kane Tepes. I think Patricia A. Rasey set the next book "Hawk" up perfectly to make the reader want more. It's a good thing I bought both the books in June.
review 2: This book was suggested to me and I have to say that I did like it. Not everyone will like the opening scene, but I did.The concept of Vampire MC Club is interesting and something I haven't read. It was interesting to see how the concept played out and how the characters interacted.Now, having said that, some of it was predictable and the constant repeat of his vampire history and some other repetitive information got a bit annoying.Overall, I would recommend this book and am considering the second; however, it seems to have a very similar MC pres Vamp and human woman storyline, which doesn't offer me anything new. So, I'm unsure about it, but considering.So...if you check this out, let me know what you think. less
