review 1: This should have been subtitled "What are they good for?" This humorous book about parents shows moms and dads of all shapes, sizes and colors being more than just bossy nags. They can be a foundation for a sandcastle, tree trunks to climb on, towels for wiping grime on, etc. My favorite illustration - and they really are all great - is the poor put-upon mom who is being used as a sofa for putting feet on. The expression on her face that has a foot planted on it is priceless.
