review 2: I had really high hopes for this book. I had only heard good things about the movie and had read a few good book reviews, so I decided to read it before I watch the movie. I did not make it past page 40. The writing style is incredible irritating and he author doesn't make himself sound very likeable.The first few pages are about his sexual fantasies and experiences when growing up. ... moreFollowed by an introduction of his family tree. There is no flow to the book. It feels very ragged and made me want to tear my hair out after the first few pages. less
