review 1: Loved this book! Had me hooked from beginning to end. Although I heard much of the story in diving circles, it was still an eye opener to read it. Sad as it is, this specific dive was a bookmark moment in the history of diving. It's not just based on a true story, this was the story. The author did a lot of research and made every character in this book someone with real feelings and experiences. He also made an effort to bring informative technical information about the kind of diving these guys were doing to allow the reader to grasp the depth of seriousness which involved this kind of diving. Truly a journey from beginning to end.
