review 1: I loved it! Now I love my erotic shapeshifters, but this book had none of the face pace, hurry up I need in your pants SMUT!! But it was wonderful, I loved the goofy but powerful Hero. Even though you knew he liked the h from the start it was an "here take my sausage"..lol type of situation. The only thing I didn't like or maybe understand was exactly when did the h fall for the H. It was like one minute they were fighting the next she just loved him so much. Can't wait to read some additional books from this series and author.
review 2: I wasn't over impressed with Heart's Sentinel. I read it thinking it would be a light, titillating read and something different from what I had being reading. Sadly it just didn't pass the mustard for me! It was too set on... more the overall storyline than the actual romance between the main couple. Also the secondary character, the man who attacked and Changed Mac just didn't seem creepy, scary or even insane enough for the story for my personal tastes.It was more of a sweet, original style romance story with shifters thrown in. I still liked it but would have rated it much higher if there had been more scenes with just Adam and Mac instead of with her father and other members of the pack!First read 4/12/2010 less
