review 1: For me, this book was just ok. I felt that plot was all over the place and did not make much sense at all. It was difficult to follow as it was not consistence and all of a sudden during an erg menu that sex would fix her a little at a time? Some part were not bad but then it would jump off track again. It took me near the end to figure out some and then the ending was just that and abrupt ending . I felt it could have been written better but I did not feel as not it drew in the reader
review 2: A solid enjoyable good read.Did want to slap Julia a few times. Especially as she's a journalist, yet she seemed to lack social skills, and didn't really appear to have any investigative skills either.Wanted to slap Mark a few times as well. Some of the crap he said ast
... moreounded me at times. And I really wanted to slap Blake. Urgh nasty, slimy piece of work. Was disappointed that there was no epilogue to say what happened when Blakes trial came to court, and also to say what the impact the financial article had when it was published.Don't take my wanting to slap the characters as a negative, because it isn't. The book draws you in superbly, that you want to see good things happen, so when one of the characters does something to jeopardise it you do want to slap some sense into them. less
