review 1: thank you for trusting me with this fantastic read . looking forward to your next one hopfully where the story leaves off Kristen has her own rule that she will not get in a relationship with a bad boy. Her last boyfriend was already a lot of trouble. But that changes when she has to get a new account. She wants to be professional and not get involved with a client, also because that it’s forbidden, but Vincent is settled in getting her. And he even put the winning of his account on stake in order to get her. And when Vincent, mysterious billionaire and sexy surfer, wants something he goes after it. So Kristen finds herself in a situation that she doesn’t want or need… but that at the same time she doesn’t want to get out of. when Kristen and Vincent got togeth... moreer, their chemistry was strong and their connection was undeniable. But we did know from reading this book that Kristen was in an abusive relationship before and that Vincent was determined to protect her from that. The series is just warming up,
review 2: *I received a copy of this book from the publisher viz NetGalley in exchange for an honest reveiw*I gave Forbidden Surrender 3.5 stars.I really liked where this storyline was heading. This story was written with so much detail, you felt as though you were in the book. As if you were a fly on the wall.A couple things stood out that made me give this book only 3.5 stars. First, this book is shorter than I expected. Only nine chapters?? I thought there could have been more than that. It was over with too suddenly. And second, there's a part in the book where Vincent picks Kristen up at her place and then later on in the book she has to give him directions to her place.Again, I really liked where this book could go. I just feel like it ws too short and could have been more than nine chapters. less
