review 1: Author does a good job, about keeping you guessing about why people have certain hangups and why the people can't just be together, and it's hinted at that there are reasons other than "I just don't think it will work" reasons. Sooooo....didn't totally fall in love in with either character. I think overall well written and tied up loose ends pretty well. I didn't feel it was abrupt or the way people changed was completely deus ex or something. It was definitely a story that was about two people that had initial attraction and how they ended up together. I am pretty pleased the author did not make the main character seem, ummm....weak and in need of extreme help? Even though the circumstances and how initially he seems to just go with the flow. Both characters become f... moreleshed out and the characterization is nice without there being an informational dump to describe their personalities or quirks. Overall worth the read. Loved it.
review 2: A lovely sweet little read. As the author stated, she was was in a Hallmark Christmas movies mood LOL.Preston and Carter enter a Marrige of Convinience (aka Mills and Boon), and we get to join them on their journey to realising they no longer want a fake marrige.Ideal for a december read to get you in the festive mood. You do need to over look quite a few errors in the writing, but not enough to spoil the story. less
