Always nice to listen to my R3lax playlist when doing forgotten homework. One will notice the Spanish influence in this night’s top 5, as my experience abroad is showing.
To top off this list, we have an eternally chill song: Mahal. Ta-ku makes this record crackle in the most sonically pleasing manner, and we are enveloped by the sound of warm horns and the delicate voice of Chet Faker. A slightly morose yet dreamy ballad, Chet sings about his struggles in attaining pleasure, and his female desire.
As I get further in this soundtrack, my priorities begin to realign and I face the textbook in front of me. I will delve deeper into the first four songs during another evening of procrastination, but for now rest assured they will keep you focused enough on your work until you too find the desire write a blog entry.
