review 1: A remarkable autobiography by Shuhab, I'd undoubtedly say he wasn't a common man what he disclosed about his tragedies, triumphs, killing his ego, writing words that can be harmful for him a common man can't write this book is also a good source of Pakistan history lovers, good for sufisim good for philosophy, good for killing own ego, good for achieving goals, good for Islam related knowledge a very good book this should be translated in english though this is a very good book but while reading I shocked some time when when I red about author's clear enmity against Hindus it was maybe he was lived in Hindu dominant areas when Pakistan came in exist well in a nutshell I invitingly suggest a must read for every Pakistan
review 2: Amazing book. I love Shahab's hum
... moreor, he was an amazing human being. Too bad there is no English version of the book, I am sure if there was one, would've gotten the attention of the western readers a lot. Shahabnama is an autobiography plus some important historical/political events that lead to the partition of India. Shahab was born during a time when the English were ruling India and he, in an extremely hilarious way, talks about the clash of cultures in those times. Beautiful book. I recommend it to every single Pakistani who wants to understand their history better and enjoy the many funny stories in the book. less
