- Note: I first read this book almost three years ago and since I am reading the next book in the coming months I did a reread and loved it just as much as I did the first time. This is the review from the first time I read it.
I love this book! I this book is now one of my favorite books ever, and if you know me, saying that is saying something. I love books way to much to actually claim a favorite but this is one of my top books.
Victoria (Tori) is fantastic. She has so much strength and she is vulnerable to her feeling just like everyone else. She is funny, kind, smart, brave, and quick witted. She is mostly alone but yet she endures. She has to control a huge amount of power and not abuse it. She is a character that I will love forever.
Christian is powerful, protective, smart, cunning and kind. You might not think so at first but he grows into himself. He recognize how strong Tori is and he understands and appreciates her.
Here is a warning this story, might break your heart and it does not have a perfect ending, but you will be better for knowing this story. I loved it and so will you it has vampires and witches what else could be more perfect.
Their story is so amazing and I really hope the second book gets published.
