review 1: Wow...I loved this story! Ky and Eden had explosive chemistry right from the beginning! I loved how it was ingrained in him to protect her and how she became stronger in his presence. "So that means you'll be my December."Hell yeah! When he told Eden those words, I melted for her. I was all like "I VOLUNTEER" but the B beat me to it! Ha!And when Mr. Swoonworthy himself said things like..."Never be fearful of saying no to me Eden. I know there will be a time when I'll need you to say no."Ummmm. Yes. I mean, yes. Sorry, I meant to say...yes. When it comes to Ky, I'd never say no!"My urge to kiss you, to touch you, to f*ck you overwhelms me. I crave being near you; I need to be near you. You are completely and utterly destroying me Miss Rivers, and I couldn't be hap... morepier about that."Seriously. Panties be flying at Mr. Crawford's face. Go, Eden, you snagged you a fine piece for December....and of course for forever. One click now...you'll be glad you did!
review 2: 3.5-3.75 Stars. This book definitely holds you in suspense. Right from the beginning I was pretty sure what was going on, but the further into the story I got, the more my mind went. Around 30% I so wanted to start skimming ahead to see if my assumptions were right. It was driving me that crazy. I didn't do it though. I respect authors too much to go against how they want you to experience their work. As soon as all was revealed, I let out a big sigh. Even with all the angst, this was a really good book. My heart broke for both Eden and Ky. I totally understand why he did what he did. Ash, Josh, and Tori were great as well. I do have to mention something that lowered my rating a bit. The editing was horrible. There were a lot of mistakes, and not just little ones. There were words just completely left out or put in the wrong place or just the entire wrong word was used which changed the meaning of the sentence. Several times the wrong name was used, which made me have to go back and reread to make sure I got what was going on. I know it is hard to catch everything, but this was just too much. I wish it didn't take away from the story, but unfortunately it did. I would still recommend this book because it really is a good story that with the editing corrections could easily be a 4-4.5 star rating book. I will end on a positive. The ending was perfect for this story, everything came together and I was left with a feeling of closure for Eden and Ky. P.S. I am really excited to read Josh and Ash's story. less
