review 1: This book was definitely a page turner for me. The characters were wonderfully thought of and the setting was beautifully described. But it was the ending that really got me. In the end she went back to her own time in the Tesla Machine and found out she ruin the time line to her family's history but that wasn't what confused me. Her grand-father disappeared 20 years before so she was the one exploring the Montauk project. So when she goes to the past her motivations change completely to why she wants to save her family. So when she goes to the past the things that she says are different. So when the past self goes back everything would be the same to her ... I just don't get it. Until i found out it was a trilogy...
review 2: I thought this book was very enjoy
... moreable. The 1940's stuff was interesting to read and the time travel conspiracy was quite the mystery. I liked Lydia and felt for her with her family issues. Wes was very intriguing and I was glad he finally spilled near the end of the book so we could all know his secrets. Lucas was sweet too and I was glad when she was honest with him. I am looking forward to reading the next book and spending more time with these characters. less
