review 1: Tinley has been through Hell. She had life by the reigns and then they snapped. The white picket fence..gone.The 2.5 kids....gone.Her first love...gone.Dallas....gone.Hello New York City............Hello BroadwayTinley has decided to change her life and change her scenery. She's moving on and moving to New York. Her dream was always Broadway and getting caught up in love made her forget it. Now it's time to focus on her and forget James. She hears a guitar strumming and it pulls her heart. She hears a voice singing and it fastens the beat. She sees a face and it makes her want another chance at love.Van is the lead singer from the Rock group Ripping Pages. He has the reputation for partying hard and going through women like bottles of beer. What if there's more to the man ... morethan the hard rocker? What if he let's someone in? What if he wants to the turn page?When Tinley and Van meet there's a connection. They want to give each other a chance and fall hopelessly. The problem with fairy tale love though is there is always turmoil, always villains, and always drama. Van and Tinley's story is no different, only more heart wrenching, more real.**This is a 5 star read through and through.**I felt so bad for both Tinley and Van. I hated both at times and got just as confused as they were emotionally. They are the kind of characters you love to hate and hate to love. They are human and make mistakes, but try to over come them only to fall flat on their face looking for a hand to help them up. In other words, they are completely relatable. Except for you know, being a rock star and performing on Broadway, but that's the fairy tale element. I love this story, love the background characters, and hope this will turn to a series, as I'd like to see what happens to the other bands mates and friends.
review 2: I was given this book by author for honest review. A very well written love triangle between shy Tinley Michaels , rock star Van Whitaker, and her first love come back James Townsen. When James leaves Tinley she’s heartbroken and moves to New York to start her career and meets bad boy rock star Van. Things are going great between Tinley and Van until he goes on tour and James shows back up just in time to help Tinley with a huge problem. Things get dicey all the way around and it Tinley has a major decision to make. Who will she end up with? Read and find out. less
