review 1: I really enjoyed this book. There were some (minor) parts of the book that I found a little hard to believe, such as Grace being able to get a seat in the courtroom for such a well publicized murder case. The way Grace conveniently ran into people, such as the man in the diner, willing to divulge insider information about the case, etc. But even with this in mind, I loved this book. It was hard to put it down and kept my attention from the first page. I'm definitely going to read her other book.
review 2: I really liked Rae's first book, Calling Out, and this one is even better! The main character is sympathetic, yet a bit off-kilter in an interesting way. The style is straight-forward and beautiful, with a fascinating plot. I couldn't put it down! I read
... moreit in two days. It's a perfect summer book, with just the right balance of character development, insight, and page-turning tension. Highly recommended! less
