review 1: I had never read any books by RaeAnne Thayne,but that will certainly change now.The setting of Wild Iris Ridge reminded me of my childhood in a small New England town,with Victorian homes very much like Iris House,and friendly citizens that I could relate to.I found myself hoping that Lucy and Brendan would each overcome their person tragedy and find happiness.I would rate this book a 4.5.I won this book from Goodreads,Inc.
review 2: I've come to this series late but it is one that I will follow because it is really good. I like the sweet romance that developed between Brendan Caine and Lucy Drake. Though it didn't happen to them years ago they have a chance to start again. He's a widower and she's at loose ends. Thankfully they cleared the air of what happen... moreed long ago. The kids and puppies were adorable. I like the interactions of a big family and a town of caring individuals. Good writing and story. less
