review 1: ~~~~I was asked the review this book in exchange of an honest review~~~This is a book you can't put down,it pulled me right in. I fell in love with all the characters.You've got mystery, romance and hot sex, Definitley a five star read!!Ellie and Max got a once in a lifetime connection, one that everyone wishes they could have. The love they have for each other drew me in even when they were kids, i just wanted them to last forever but one day Max just vanishes off the face of the earth, Ellie is completely heartbroken.After Five years Ellie decides it time to start living again but she doesn't expect a blast from the past.Some parts of this book are emotional, you just want Ellie to be happy, she sure deserves it.
review 2: This was an entertaining and intrigu... moreing read. Ellie and Max became serious in high school and were totally in love. But Max just mysteriously disappeared one day, leaving Ellie heartbroken. Max’s disappearance just added to Ellie’s abandonment issues. Fast forward five years and Ellie graduated from college and was working as a bartender back in her hometown, Charlotte. She was still struggling to get over Max but found herself attracted to a fellow bartender. This story unfolded itself like a soap opera where there was slew of characters in addition to the main ones. Also nothing seemed to be what it was and it held my attention to find out what was actually going on. less
