Romance between Axel Richmond, a major league pitcher with an injured shoulder and his physical therapist, Kasha Carlyle. She fights the attraction because she’s his therapist and she thinks it’s unethical to get involved. She also needs the pay and benefits her job provides because she’s trying to gain custody of a sister with Down Syndrome. They both have to work through tragedies from their pasts.
This is a good story. I think Lori Wilde is an excellent author. My rating isn’t higher simply due to personal preference. I don’t like the angst in novels when the characters fight their feelings. Some people love that and will give a much higher rating, I’m sure.
