I have been saving book number 1 since I stole it out the hands of one my friends on December 1st to be the first book in 2018. At our traditional Girly Christmas this year, we exchanged books, and by exchanged I mean we engaged in a Secret Santa that was wrought with trading, exchanging and downright stealing; it was good fun. I have been looking forward to reading this book on the train home from Christmas vacation since that evening.
There is only one problem, my five hour train ride is on the 3rd, and well, I started and finished the book this morning. It was really good, so it’s not my fault. I love Ms. Evanovichs keen ability to write about complete ridiculousness, I remain in awe of her imagination at the absolutely insane situations that make me laugh out loud, alone, sometimes in public (it can be a bit embarrassing at times) and yet I feel like I could totally get myself in the exact same mess.
In short, if you are looking for total and complete relaxation where you feel no emotion but general contentment, then this is the book for you. It is easy to read with a story that is both simple and complex and completely endearing.
