“Run Forrest run!” We all know what movie this quote is from. Forest Gump , for those of you who don’t know , what forrest gump is it’s a older classic movie . Did you know there is a restaurant inspired by the movie forrest gump called bubba gump. It’s a seafood restaurant as well as market and it’s located in Long Beach i’m gonna give you a review and rate and tell you about my personal experience at Bubba Gump.
My experience at Bubba Gump was quite fascinating because it was my first time .When i went out for lunch at Bubba Gump they were semi- crowded . The staff was pretty friendly and the service wasn’t super fast but it’s wasn’t slow either. They’re restaurant is unique it’s a nice restaurant overall. As far a my meal I ordered one of their forest favorite’s , Captain’s fish and chips. The fish was hand breaded in beer batter it was nice and hot , when I refer to the fish as hot i’m referring to as in steam not in spice. The hush puppies were not good in my opinion they were well overcooked and didn’t have much flavor . For the fries they were good as well I enjoyed my meal for the most part.
In closing overall Bubba Gump is a nice restaurant. And I would recommend this restaurant to family and friends . Just don’t get their hush puppies if you do order them request that they don’t overcook them.
