Holiday Brunch

Hey Loves! Can you believe Christmas is almost here. The tradition in our house is that we do Christmas brunch (maybe this is where my love of brunch started) with my family and Christmas dinner with the Hub’s family. A few weeks ago I hosted a kid friendly holiday brunch for my brunch club. So, today I’m sharing an easy (so serious there is really no cooking involved) brunch for you if you plan on hosting a holiday brunch. Since Christmas eve is on a Sunday, this would be perfect for that as well.

I went to my favorite spot for party decor, the Dollar Tree. I’ve mentioned here and here how it’s my go to spot when I’m entertaining.

I wanted an easy kid friendly menu so I got items that were heat and serve and that would be easy for little hands to manage. The Menu: mini chicken and waffles, mini chocolate chip pancake skewers, mini quiche, cinnamon roll wreath (found at Trader Joe’s, just had to let it rise over night and pop it in the oven), hash brown casserole cups, and fruit.

Of course mimosas were on deck. I found these champagne flutes at Dollar tree and used favor tags for people to write their names on their glasses.

And of course I had to have a hot chocolate bar. This was a hit and so easy. Get your favorite toppings and let your guest have fun with it. I found these festive mugs in Dollar Tree, and at the end of the party I washed them and let each of the adults take their mug home as a party favor.

I also found some really cute crafts at Hobby lobby for the kids and this holiday bingo printable. We did a book exchange. So each child left with their ornament, their Christmas puzzle, and a book.

The kids really enjoyed the party and so did the moms.
