review 1: I really enjoyed the first two books in this series but this one just wasn't as good. The other two held my interest but I struggled with this one. The caharcters in her previous books that made them so entertaining such as Neko were hardly in this one and there just didn't seem to be much else to make the book worth reading. I will read the next one though. Hopefully she brings back all the things that made her first two books so entertaining.
review 2: Unfortunately the third installment in the Jane Madison series didn't quite cut it, IMO. I wasn't taken into the story at all andI missed the prose of the previous books, which was simple yet captivating and fun. This story seemed 'tired', there were way too many repetitions which probably needed either some e... morediting or rewriting and the whole plot wasn't interesting or engaging at all. Too bad really 'cause I did enjoy the previous books. less
