Now that you are here
residing in my thoughts
I’ve come to a decision
one that is final,
once and for all
Everywhere I turn
I feel, as if you are
watching me,
Not a day goes by
without thinking
knowing that somewhere
when I least expect it
away in the farthest reaches
of my thoughts
You are there
invading my thoughts
setting up camp
wood stove, your clothesline
hanging your dainty things
over my sink,
Now my friends will know
for certain,
what they long have
suspected,
From this day onward
I am calling the shots
I am the one in charge
Just me,
I’ve decided that your thoughts
should move in
next to mine,
allowing the both of us
the ease of knowing
just where you, and I am
at anytime of the day or night
Anytime
Anywhere…
