Obsessions of the Month: December

I know that it is a bit early for a December favorites but I really wanted to show off some of the more festive things in time for anyone that wants to buy them before Christmas. This will, as usual, be a small collection of five things from decor to makeup to food that I have loved this month.

1: Fenty Beauty Foundation

I am one of those people who is always skeptical of celebrity brands whether it is clothing, makeup or anything else. I usually find that they slack on the quality because they know that their fans will buy their products whether it is good or not. I watched and read tons of reviews online and was very intrigued by the shade range, like everyone else. I am ghostly pale and it is difficult for me to find the right shade because brands never go light enough. I found my perfect shade! (Cool 110 if you are wondering, and I got 130 for summer) Link: Fenty Beauty

2: Milk Bar Corn Cookie Mix

While I was in Las Vegas I went to Momofuku and the Milk Bar. I tried so many delicious sweets and fell in love with the corn cookies so I bought a few canisters of mix. There is only one left and I am saving it for Christmas weekend to share with family along with other festive sweets. If you haven’t tried these I highly recommend them for someone who doesn’t want super sweet cookies or if you have a large variety of sweets. So yummy.

You can order this mix and others here.

3: Star Wars Christmas Sweater

My husband and I always share clothes especially things that we know won’t be worn that often like this obnoxious sweater with lightsabers that actually light up. It is warm and cozy, not that soft though. I love that the lights can easily be removed for washing and of course it is black. I also felt that it was appropriate since the new Star Wars movie came out yesterday.

If you love this as much as I do you can order it here.

4: Sleeping Beauties by Stephen King & Owen King

I recently received this book as a gift from my in-laws and I am obsessed with it. I haven’t finished it yet but I’m sure I will be done by the end of the weekend if I don’t get distracted by Vlogmas videos. This is a collaboration book that Stephen King wrote with his son, which I think is extremely cool, and it seems like Owen is just as dark as his father and will hopefully be continuing the horror for the next generation of readers. I love the idea of how men would continue to exist if all women essentially disappeared.

You can order a copy here.

5: Starbucks’ Christmas Tree Frappuccino

I have heard that quite a few people were disappointed by this year’s special festive drink but I actually really liked it. It is a Peppermint Mocha frappuccino with matcha whipped cream, caramel and candied cranberries. I like that you can get most of the drink all year but maybe the normality of it made other people upset. It is festive and cute so I thought is was great. Also the cranberries are so good I could just eat those on their own. After it goes away I would just order a peppermint mocha frap with caramel.

I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Thank you so much for reading.

See you Tuesday

xoxo
