Today I will be reviewing Like no other by Una LaMarche. It has been a while since I last did a review, so I’m excited to do this!
Like no other was a fun, enjoyable and very diverse read. Before we get started I wanted to mention that in our local library they put the first four letters of an author last name on the spine, for organizational reason and so on my copy of this book it says on the spine that it was written by a lama.

The cover is stunning. It’s minimal and simple and I like that.
The plot was entertaining, but not exactly fast paced. However I didn’t mind that.
The secret meet ups were romantic and thrilling and the story was heart warming.
I really liked both of the main characters a lot. Jaxon was funny, sweet and a huge romantic. I loved the way he cared for his family. Devorah was very intelligent and she also cared for her family, but differently. She is conscientious and fights for what she believes in. Their romance was cute and fluffy, although a bit insta-lovey. This book is very diverse and next to the two different cultures, it also deals with interracial romance, religion and racism in a way I think was good.*
The book had a bit of an abrupt ending, but I liked it. It feels like the story still goes on.
Overall this was a very enjoyable read that I would recommend. I gave it four out of five stars.
