I absolutely loved this audiobook !
This was partly because the narrator, Greg Tremblay , was FANTASTIC [He got the every single voice, emotion and performance perfect] and also partly because the story was just great.
Rhys Ford penned an excellent murder-mystery though it got to a time when I sort of suspected the bad guy( it wasn’t THAT obvious don’t worry) but my suspicions kept shifting because Rhys just kept throwing other, more likely suspects in your face. I loved it.
I enjoyed Dante, Rook and all the secondary characters(even the cranky-ass grandfather). Their interactions were so funny with just the right hint of heart tossed in.
I was glad they didn’t drop any “I love you’s” in here because that would’ve just been so far fetched it would’ve ruined the book. However, you could certainly feel that these two had something special that was worth developing.
To be perfectly honest, even though I wanted to wring Rook’s neck for being so damn stubborn sometimes, I loved the way he was with Dante and I will definitely be continuing this series because I need to see how they progress and tap into all those undiscovered FEELS.
