The beginning of 2018

2017 was a great year.

It started with a lot of sadness and ended with a lot of happiness and laughter.
I bid farewell to last year with a smile on my face. I am grateful for all the obstacles and challenges that were put in my way and all the wonderful people I got to meet and all the places I got to see. Here’s a bit of my year in pictures.

A particular obstacle that was put my way in October is proving to be a bit trickier to overcome successfully. And I am still working on it. Fortunately, I’ve had some time to relax and de-stress over the holidays and I feel that I am now ready to look at it differently.
I also feel that my biggest mistake with this obstacle was to ignore my word (something I kept very much alive for the whole year) throughout it all. Thinking that I could do it all when really, I should have listened to my gut feeling.

Now we are in 2018 and there’s so much I want to do and accomplish!

In December I started working my way through the Unravel Your Year 2018 and that has already helped me narrow down some of the things I want to this year. I think it is a great exercise and I regret not paying much attention to it when I first had the chance (an acquaintance had printed a copy of it back in 2015 and I pretty much disregarded the whole thing after pretending to work on it for about 30 minutes).
To be honest it just felt stupid. Little did I know that I should have given it a go!

To help me get started, I also went ahead and worked on my word for 2018.

Two projects on the works: an e-book and a the creation of a women’s only group.
More details to follow on these later.

For now, my wish is for January to be a great beginning to the new year and may I make a small step forward towards my goals.

Happy 2018!
