review 1: Still very invested in this series. This must be my year to do serious series reads as I'm movin' on to #5. I just love that Roan is so conflicted and so not perfect. It makes him interesting and you are able to get more in his space. As always this author is my absolute favorite in MM for descriptions - I've not met anyone who does it better. Since I'm a reader who invests heavily in my senses that means these books constantly get me so involved I rarely even think about what's going on outside my head in the book. Great!
review 2: It's hard not to love these stories. Roan is a unique character and Ms Speed's story, as it unfolds in book after book in this series, is equally unique. I really liked spending more time on Roan personally in this book as well as... more on his developing relationship with Dylan. And secondary characters, Holden and Fionna, really had great parts in this one. It's win/win all around. Can't wait to move on to the next one. less
