Hello everyone!!
It has been such a fun, relaxing week for me! If you haven’t heard around my blog, I was able to head south for a week-long vacation in my absolute favorite areas of Nashville! Sadly, the last seven days felt like only two, and I seriously can’t believe how fast it went..
Looking back at the week, what I thought would be a book-filled free time was actually spent 30% reading and 70% slumped on the couch petting two rather cute corgis. Yep, I definitely took advantage of the RELAXing part of the trip! BUT, it was much needed.
So back to the real world I go..
This last week I was able to get a chunk of reading done. I realized a few days after I posted last week’s update, that I forgot to add my TBR-list for this week which included the following:
- Ivory and Bone (Ivory and Bone #1) by Julie Eschbaugh
- The Bone Witch (The Bone Witch #1) by Run Chupeco
- A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses #2) by Sarah J. Maas
Here is what I was ACTUALLY able to read this past week for Week 2 of the Book Deprived Read-a-thon:
Finished: Ivory and Bone (Ivory and Bone #1) by Julie Eschbaugh, pages 70 – 371
Started: The Bone Witch (The Bone Witch #1) by Rin Chupeco, pages 1 – 24
For a weekly total of..
..325 pages and 1 book finished..
..and a GRAND total of 603 pages!
Favorite book this week: The Bone Witch
Read-a-thon Goal: 2/40
Next Week’s TBR:
- The Bone Witch (The Bone Witch #1) by Rin Chupeco
- City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments #1) by Cassandra Clare (re-read)
- Spare and Found Parts by Sarah Maria Griffin
Have y’all used Audiobooks before?
I just downloaded my first book this week through my local, public library and I’m currently on the 2nd chapter of Princess of Thorns by Stacey Jay. Since I’m not sure how I feel about this new-to-me way of reading, I probably won’t be adding my status into these updates until I am sure I like the format.
Through the app I use, I haven’t been able to find a way to know exactly which PAGE I’m on, so I don’t quite know yet how I will be adding the page count to this read-a-thon if I do end up using Audiobooks to tackle some of my TBR piles.
Let me know below if you have any tips or tricks to getting used to Audiobooks!
But anyways, I am now going to spend the rest of my night relaxing with a little reading before my work-week begins in the morning!
Stay tuned every Saturday this summer for more updates on how I’m striving for my 40 book total! You can subscribe below for instant updates to all of my posts and more!
Until next time..
Happy Reading,
