review 1: Well, this was a quick read, a great concept, and supposedly a dark comedy. Alas, I feel (and perhaps this is coming from me as a woman), Jean, despite her backstory, the interesting and odd personality quirks... Fell a little flat as a main character. An okay beach read if you like something quick, easy, and light. (although how murder can be light... Maybe therein lies the problem). I wanted more substance, more struggle from the main character and a bit more development and responsibility from the story. But, definitely a new twist! Read this if you want something more original than a romance novel!
