I love a good historical novel. And this is an exceptional one!
Juliane’s story of being unjustly imprisoned, forced to marry, and transported to America, gripping and inspiring. The romance was realistic and the plot was pacey without being over the top.
As for the spiritual content: There was a great message running through the pages of this book. But what I really appreciated was that the faith seemed realistic of the time the characters were living in.
Overall a highly reccomended book.
