This trip was the essential spark of my photography inspiration. Growing up, I had always adored the art of photography. I saw it as a way of being able to create art even though I couldn’t draw or paint anything to save my life. After receiving my first camera the year before, I decided to bring it with me on my family vacation trip to Hatteras that year in August. Most of these photos are still some of my most favorite photos I have ever taken. They are ordered numerically from the beginning of the trip to the end.
