Review: What a hoot! This book was a pleasure to read and to look at. Kate Beaton has a talent for sweet and funny books, and riotous drawings. After Princess Pinecone gets a rather cute and tiny pony instead of a big, strong horse for her birthday, she has no idea how she’s supposed to win the tournament coming up. This is a great story for young ones learning to deal with not judging a book by its cover, or even for simply showing that sometimes success comes from an unlikely place. Definitely worth a read through!!
