review 1: Frothy and Glossy and Satisfying. Like smooth chocolate, or bubbly champers. Have just read all the five Lexi Graves books, and highly recommend if you likeChick LitRomance with Hot GuysFamiliesPolice and Private DetectivesNot my usual Sci-Fi, Urban Fantasy read. But I am on tenterhooks now, waiting for book 6 (45% draft, at time of writing this so it might be a while yet).Come on, Camilla. Write faster! Please.
review 2: After the ditzy beginning things pick up and it's a light and fun read. At first I put the book down in disgust after only a few pages. Months later, I decided to give it another chance and now I've inhaled the entire series in just a few days. For the record: I like Lexi better than Stephanie Plum. She's more resourceful and marginally more c... moreredible as an investigator.Only complaint: Chafer has some colourful figures of speech ("he looks like a bulldog chewing on nettles"), but recycles them from book to book and the second time around they're just not amusing anymore. less
