Goodreads: Zoe Rutherford has come to the end of her rope. Her relationship with Chris has reached the breaking point and it is time to leave. But can she leave? And if she does, what is she willing to leave behind?

This stunning short story, the prequel to Tanya Anne Crosby’s remarkable new novel, THE GIRL WHO STAYED, is tense, poignant, and deeply satisfying – exactly what readers have come to expect from this New York Times bestselling author.

My Review: What an amazing Short Story. This had me hooked! Really really sucked me in. There is a very strong message within this book for women who really ‘really’ need to make that all important decision. Stand tall with your head up high and walk proud!

This was a great freebie from Amazon. With just 18 pages, I read it in one sitting; took me about ten minutes or so but when it ended I wanted more and I still do. I need to know now what Zoe is doing. Did she make the right choice? Did she forget anything and if she did does it really matter? Isnt starting all over again in a safe place the most important thing?
