review 1: It’s the weekend and with nothing else better to do, Kara Thompson and her girlfriends check out a Western night club. This is a new experience for Kara and so is her instant attraction to a navy-eyed, blonde-haired stranger at the bar. There’s something very masterful and sexy about Austin Delaney which appeals to the submissive in Kara. Austin, who is in town to visit his best friend, is not opposed to some extra fun for the weekend. Not usually a one-night stand kind of girl, Kara finds herself spending two glorious days getting to know Austin and when he leaves it is with the promise to see her again soon. Unfortunately weeks passed and Kara hears nothing from Austin. It becomes imperative they speak when she discovers she’s pregnant. Imagine the shock whe... moren Austin shows up in the sixth month of her pregnancy. Austin is torn between his feelings for Kara and whether he’s ready to become a father. Not one to shirk his responsibilities, Austin proposes only to be turned down. Kara loves Austin but she doesn’t want a pity proposal. Austin has to convince Kara he wanted a life with her before the baby and still does.Weekend Fling by Reana Malori turns out to be anything but and what really results is a sweet romance and the uniting of a fun and unforgettable couple. The main characters are brought to life through detailed description of their personalities and each has little quirks which make them more realistic. Kara is known for talking to herself and Austin is the consummate knight without the white horse. The sexual encounters between Kara and Austin are sweet and sensual. Their ethnicity does not become an issue until his parents are introduced and Kara wonders whether Austin’s father’s aloofness is as a result of his displeasure with her ethnicity. Eventually she realizes this is not the case and they resolve their differences. The union between Austin and Kara results in a beautiful biracial baby.Weekend Fling is another short novel that is sure to please many readers. It’s quick, enjoyable and very memorable.~ Susan for ARe Cafe
review 2: A beautiful lady, a handsome, powerful Navy seal about ready to retire, a weekend of love that seemed to mean more than just sex, and the unexpected appearance of a baby on the way. Yet the father-to-be is silent for months, and the mother is prepared to do the single-mother thing. Yet all is not as it appears, and this is a story of love and discovery, disappointment and abandonment, love and the beauty of the illusive and precious second chance. It may be a plot that has been explored before, but it is very well done here, and by the end of the story I really liked these characters alot. Very entertaining and satisfying read. less

The story is cliche. But the author's writing style somewhat helped me not too bored. Keep it up!
