review 1: I thought the book was fantastic. Definitely one of the best and well written books I've read in a long time. I love that the story line isn't only about Prince Edward and Lily's love affair, but about much more. In the book you get to follow the four girls lives which is both scandalous and rebellious for the time period. I admire the author for mixing historical events from the time period into the book such as first woman journalist and Titanic. After all I really enjoyed reading the book. The scandalously love affairs and royal life seen from inside makes this book a very unique read and one I'll never forget.
review 2: I first started becoming interested in this family after seeing the movie "The King's Speech" then there was a TV movie about Prince Johnny... more. Soon I will be seeing the movie "W.E", I basically knew the end of the novel before I even started it, but it was really well done. I liked the characters and their stories. For a while though in the beginning I got confused on which sister was who. But all in all I enjoyed this novel and will read more from this author. less
