review 1: This has been an amazing journey i had along with Brie!!! At first i was a bit skeptic when i started the Brie series but i have come to love Brie and all the other characters in the story. I will really miss reading about Brie and i wish there was more books i could read about her story but i guess all good thing have to come to an end and what an end indeed!! I thought as i was reading the ending that the author gave a good closure for all the characters in the series leaving me more than satisfied.
review 2: Once again we have to say goodbye to a sizzling series starring Brie! This time it was all about Brie's life as sub, and we got the added benefit of getting updated on all of the main characters from Brie's first series.This last installment included ev... moreen more firsts for Sir and Brie. I was shocked to find out there were still some scenes (and toys)that I had never come across before in my BDSM reads! There were gentle looking ball gags, (never knew there was such a thing!)golden anal beads, and we even get treated to a surprisingly emotional scene between Sir and Brie when the add more committment to one another by branding themselves. In my opinion, it doesnt' get much more committed than that! I mean, that has got to hurt!! Yikes! Yet, even though it sounds gruesome, Red Phoenix did a beautiful job of created a very intense scene between The Master and his slave!"I brand you tonight not only to mark you as mine, tea, but to celebrate your devotion and courage as my submissive."It truly was a beautiful ceremony shared with Brie,her Master, and Headmaster Coen.Another intriguing scene was when the tables were turned and Brie was told to Top Sir. In other words, she became the dominant while he was the sub. I loved this scene, as it is always a pleasure for me to get some more insight on how a Dom may think when he is in a scene! In this case, there was some humor added in because Brie was somewhat unsure of herself when dominating her Sir!A lot of loose ends and unanswered questions get dealt with in this final installment. I think one of my favorites was Faelean's ending. It was perfect, and left me feeling really good about everything that had happened through out the series!All in all, I am sad to say goodbye to Brie and her friends. It was a journey that I enjoyed taking right alongside Brie. She is quite the special character in my eyes and I will never forget her. I almost feel like I was learning about the ins and outs of BDSM through her experiences! Red Phoenix did a wonderful job of including such a wide variety of BDSM play which gave the reader wonderful insight and knowledge about the situations that go on behind closed doors! I am sad to see this end; but glad that I can revisit any time I get the urge to take a sneak peak into the lives of Sir and Brie. I am eager to see what Red has up her sleeve for her next project, as I have always loved her story telling and am highly entertained by it too! So, bring it on Red!! I will have my one clicking finger ready to be exercised as soon as you come out with your next masterpiece! less
