review 1: Well this book surprise me from beginning to end. ;)It's PNR, for adults, but not a romance. I liked the main character but the world of the books could have been better. Really bad vampires, which I loved it, but a little slow. Of course the end made it all up for me. it was unexpected and it made me realize this one the first book of a series.I'm really looking forward to see Varick again, since I really liked the "guy".
review 2: I've been saving this to read for a bit so I can have my Red fix while waiting for more of her work. I've read all of her works so far and found myself a satisfied reader each time. Woman has skill!Who does not love vampires?Varick's story was different than any other vamp book I've read (and I've read a ton!) If you are in the mo... moreod for a good unpredictable vampire read without it being lengthy this is one for you. A hot vampire, sex, violence, a touch of mystery and love. Varick: The Reluctant gives a new outlook to our knowledge of immortals and will have you thinking if it's a sparkly vampire you really want in your dreams ;) less
