review 1: This was an ok read, it just wasn't for me. I think the story had a lot of potential, I just feel like it was too forced. The relationship just seemed to come out of nowhere. It's not the short time frame that bothered me, it was the lack of anything that really seemed to convince me of the relationship. I understand seeing someone and having initial interest, but to go from that to being in love with someone after having probably less than a few hours of interaction in about a week seems to be a stretch. I just didn't feel like there was any substance to the connection.
review 2: What a wonderful surprise you will find "In 9 Days". Kevin is the new kid at school and to make things worse he is disfigured with some very severe scars which leads many to write him... more off as "The Freak" but not Tessa. She sees something different when she looks at Kevin so she works to make a connection with him. What transpires is beautiful and sweet and reminds you that all it takes is some kindness to make someone's day. less
