review 1: This is the first novella in the Soul Seers series. What a great way to start! You can also read this in Paranormal Anthology with a Twist. And boy is there a twist. This is definitely a fast read, you will not want to put it down. I love Ella and Jonah. And their eyes, wow, Ella has amethyst eyes and Jonah has emerald. Ella is a college student, she's not your "normal" kind of girl though. She thought she was going crazy with all these voices in her head all the time. She learns the truth about the "voices" from her mother, after a tragic accident. She had no clue that there are others like her and her mother. Until Jonah walks into her class and he "hears" her, just like she can hear him. They hit it off right away. That ending though! This is my 2nd time re... moreading this series and it still gets me. Thank God all the novellas are available in one box set now!
review 2: What a clever ending! This was totally charming and romantic but also very cleverly created, it's nice to read a natural, sweet love story with heat and charm but also a lot of respect and good old fashioned chivalry going on. The characters appealed to me a lot and there were plenty of interesting paranormal elements going on, some of the concepts are fascinating and really well explained. Voices of the Soul was easily read and enjoyed, next time I want a short sweet reading moment I will definitely be looking to Rene Folsom to provide it. Kudos! less
