Beautifully Awake
review 1: I've always dreamed/fantasized of dating and even having a surgeon (or at least an MD) for a spouse and this author just gave me Dr Chase! GOSH, I lusted him while reading Beautifully Awake. But then Counsellor Asher came into the scene and Book 2 totally moved Chase aside (but I would still lust over him should there be a revisit in the future LOL). I totally fell in love with Asher; he is the maximum boyfriend (even plus one) / husband material and he has such a big HEART, he's like this giant teddy bear who just feel like he can make everyone around him happy. He's so lovable he makes me cry....and the epilogue; it was so heartbreaking but yet so Beautifully Done, I was crying like a broken-hearted sap. I totally love the writing style, the choice of words and phrases a... morend most especially the alternate POVs. Riley Mackenzie most certainly have become one of my fave authors this year. I even twitted them to request a story on Dr Guy Hunter (another hot Doctor wouldn't hurt, I'm sure :)
review 2: Absolutely loved this book. Book one is Lili and Chases story. This is Talia and Ashers story. Can be read as a standalone but seriously you wanna read both. This is a beautifully written story. It pulled on all my emotions. I seriously love Talia and Asher. All I'm gonna say is these two books are a must read. You really don't want to miss out in them. The epilogue... Wow. Amazing. Loved this book. less
