review 1: 5 stars from bottom of my heart!!I literally stumbled on this author(s) and i'm so glad that i did!it's very rare for me to love other characters beside the main ones but i adored them in this book.I loved that every character had it's own purpose, that every event, every emotion had it's own place. There are many authors with great ideas but very poor realization. This book wasn't one of them! There were some parts where i wanted to know more (don't we all want more of a things that we love?)The cover.. OMG that cover is perfect! This really is the kind a book that captivates you from the beginning and leaves you on a cloud once you're done.Lily, our heroine is a very damaged soul. She's living her life day by day, going through life without any goalwhile taking care about ... moreeveryone else. That's beauty of her soul; commitment to others without expecting something in return.Chase is that alpha male, that comes out very demanding, sometimes cruel and a lot of bossy, but still, like Lily, one damaged broken soul. What do you think? Is their brokenness the reason that their paths crossed? Is it possible form a relationship with two to many times broken souls? Does scars heal? Can love overcome everything?I really enjoyed while reading this book and i'll for sure read the next one and the next one and the next one and every one from this author(s)I wish for all of you that you feel this book at least as half as i am!!Congratulations on great job!
review 2: Lots of feel good here.So much going on in this story. I didn't see the instant attraction that Chase had for Lily, but eventually I did get there. The idea of a surgeon using boxing to manage his feelings is totally beyond me. Why risk your livelihood that way? What the heck is wrong with pilates? Oh, that's right, he has more money than he can shake a stick at. But moving on to more important things, this book had a lot to say about forgiving oneself and moving on. The author did do a good job justifying those emotions. less
