review 1: I thought it was a wonderful book by the end. However, at times I didn't. Some times i did want to finish reading because she wouldn't take time to get a strangers number or talk to them. It seemed like she would brush them off. By the end of the book i don't think that was her intent. She seemed to really care. This would be a great thing to do and something I would be scared to do (tell strangers I am going to pray for them) because I am afraid of rejection. Loved the read.
review 2: I started praying for strangers several years ago though not to the extent of River Jordan. I feel like is was a burden for her though because she was always so busy or not in the mood. I probably wouldn't approach her if ever given the chance just because I'd hate to s... morelow her down. The overall repeatitiveness of the book did get old but I did enjoy the short stories. My prayers still go out to Blue Shoes. less
