review 1: If you're fed up with the ways things are happening in this country, this book won't make you feel any better. In fact, it should push you beyond outrage. Robert Reich tells it like it is and by the end of this book hopefully, many will feel compelled to get involved with government. Whether you choose local grass roots efforts or maybe something on a larger scale, civic involvement may be our last hope for fixing the state of our affairs.
review 2: I decided to read this after watching Inequity for All. I liked it, but I felt like it was very partisan unlike Inequity for All. Even though I am sure a conservative would watch Inequity for All and call it socialist propaganda, at least in the film, he tries to not attack Republicans. In the book he openly atta
... morecks Republicans. I did not like or enjoy how inflammatory I felt his message was at times, even if I agree with most of his assertions. Also and this may just be me, but I felt like he missed the days of the civil rights movements and protests of the 60’s and he wants to relive it again, and see the people rise up to demand a change in Washington. less
