review 1: Hands down, one of the best books I have read. As a professor, to read about this professors' life and faith was like having a great mentor showing me how a person of faith should handle certain academic situations. However, I think this book would be valuable to any one from any walk of life. President Eyring is a humble, faithful, hard-working man with incredible insight. I hope to read this again and again.
review 2: I loved this book. It's amazing to see how Pres. Eyring's life has been guided, every step of the way, so that he can fulfill the mission God has for him. This book strengthens my hope and faith that my life is being guided, too.I feel like I know Pres. Eyring a lot better after reading this. He's been through so much, even while serving as a Ge... moreneral Authority, that I never realized. He is an amazing example. I haven't read a lot of biographies before... but I think I want to read more. You gain so much insight into the person you study, as well as the history they lived through. I feel like it gave me perspective on my own life too. I still have so much of it ahead of me. less
