review 1: I'm a huge fan of Robyn Carr. Her stories are always sweet and warmhearted.Currently, I'm reading Virgin River series, but I love Thunder Point too.I love how Laine and Eric's relationship grows slowly. Eric has to deal with his personal issues. Two families that are so different that bind the knot through the test of time.Reminds me a bit of Nicholas Sparks' The Rescue though.Looking forward to read the next book from this series.
review 2: Rating: 3.5 starsSensuality: WarmThis is the fourth installment in the Thunder Point series. The first 3 were mostly chick lit based around romance, but not explicit at all. This is the first one that gets a little more sexual than the others. I would still classify this as pretty strong chick lit over romance. The story
... more revolves around Laine, the FBI agent who befriended Devon in the compound, and Eric, the father of Gina's daughter, Ashley. While the other books revolved around Cooper & his bar, this one is set more at Eric's gas station and shop. We meet all the people who work for Eric. The secondary story is that of Justin, a teenager who works for Eric, and Al, a roamer who has worked for Eric over the years. Justin is having family issues and Al is trying to resolve his past and stop running from it. The first 2/3 of this book held my interest. Then it got a little boring for me. There was quite a bit of repetition and blah, blah, blah that didn't really add to the story. Then the ending seemed to come to quickly. I guess I am used to a little more of a "bow tie" on the endings even in series books.I'm still looking forward to continuing the rest of the series. I really do enjoy getting immersed in Thunder Point.*I received this book from Amazon Vine free to review* less
